Health Tips

To stay fit and healthy -
  • Maintain your body mass index (BMI) less than 23
  • Stay away from junk foods avoid / minimise foods containing - white flour, white sugar, white salt in excess, deeply fried / greasy foods.
  • Eat healthy food - Whole wheat, millets (raagi, jowar, bajra), raw fruits and vegetables, nuts and spices, fish oil, sprouts.
  • Avoid smoking and drinking.
  • Exercise at least thrice a week - keep variety to fight boredom- jogging/ aerobics, strengths, yoga.
  • Completely fast at least once a month (take only water)
  • De-stress by spending your time in hobbies, with family/ children/ friends, read, listen to music or any other hobby you enjoy.
  • Take adequate sleep and rest.
